Responsible for supporting all aspects of front office functions and reservation in accordance with hotel standards. Maintains a service and management philosophy that serves as a guide to respective associate. Assists in developing and maintaining the acknowledgment and service of all guests visiting the location. Supports management to ensure all department are aware of all guest's needs and information prior to arrival that will lead to a unique, memorable and personal stay. To fulfill the requests of guests and ensure 100% guest satisfaction, is the key purpose for Duty Manager of Capella Ubud.



  • Ability to use interpersonal communication skills and emotionally engage with tent guests, visitors, and colleagues.
  • Ability to fully understand and accept the Capella Ubud Use the "Canon" on daily basis to go beyond of what is expected.
  • Ability to input, access, and effectively use data in "Opera". Includes protecting confidential information of hotel guests, visitors and associates; includes protecting hotel's valuable information.
  • Ability to communicate effectively by using telephone, Smartphone, walkie-talkie, etc.
  • Ability to provide excellent service to tent guests as all times. Includes efficient coordination between the departments involved, and proper follow up. Includes efficient preparation for the shift operations handover, proper preparation for the line-up and presenting it, screening CC assignment and know tent guests - their names, VIP status, room numbers, tent names and other essential information which can be used for engagement and satisfaction.
  • Ability to work cohesively with other departments and co-workers as part of a team. Includes creating productive relationships with all colleagues of the property.
  • Ability to have genuine attitude and use it in daily operations.
  • Ability to think clearly, quickly and make sound decisions to achieve the best outcome.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up in a timely manner.
  • Ability to focus on guests' needs, courteous, professional and remaining calm in any situation including under-pressure situation.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all guests and tent
  • Ability to work well under pressure delivering "Capella Ubud" service at all times.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays and evenings if necessary, cover night shifts.
  • Ability to do Camp's Post job when required; familiar with the tent products, facilities and services.
  • Make sure day by day inventory stationary, forms, and all tags are ready stock and make store request for adding the items if necessary.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.





  1. High School Graduate.
  2. Possess a good command of the English language and the ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate with guests, both in person and by telephone.
  3. Ability to provide legible communication.
  4. Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
  5. Knowledge of computers and OPERA system.
  6. Knowledge of the Locality, its attractions, services, suppliers and vendors.



  1. A college education or training in the hospitality industry.
  2. Previous experience as a Duty Manager in a luxury market.
  3. Able to work Night shift.
  4. Fluency in a second language is essential.
